Not even a strong hitting and pitching performance from Jared J could carry Field Falcons 10U past Rubber City Green at Brimfield Elementary School on Wednesday as Field Falcons 10U suffered a 7-3 defeat.

Jared was solid at the plate for Field Falcons 10U. Jared went 2-2, drove in one and scored one run. He singled in the second and fourth innings.

Jared shut down Rubber City Green while he was on the bump. Rubber City Green managed just one hit off of J, who allowed no earned runs, walked two and struck out three during his three innings of work.

Jacob W got the win in relief for Rubber City Green. Jacob pitched three innings and allowed one run.

Rubber City Green's Justin F, Jacob, Cole D and Gavin L combined for five hits and six RBIs.

Tyler L was the game's losing pitcher. He lasted just 1 1/3 innings, walked none, struck out three, and allowed five runs.

Field Falcons 10U jumped out to an early 1-0 lead in the bottom of the second.

Rubber City Green never surrendered the lead after the fifth inning, scoring five runs on a two-run home run by Jacob and two singles.
