Field Falcons 10U fell 12-8 to Ohio XS in six innings on Sunday despite racking up six hits and eight runs.

Kyle S racked up two RBIs on two hits for Field Falcons 10U. He singled in the first and third innings.

Ohio XS had no answer for Braxton B, who kept runners off the basepaths in his appearance. Ohio XS managed just one hit off of B, who allowed no earned runs, walked none and struck out five during his three innings of work.

Even though Andrews allowed six runs over 4 2/3 innings he still recorded the victory. Andrews struck out three, walked four and gave up four hits.

Ohio XS' Andrews, Woit, Myers and Roggenburk combined for seven hits and five RBIs.

Trezdon C ended up on the wrong side of the pitching decision, charged with the loss. He allowed seven runs in one inning, walked none and struck out none.

Ohio XS didn't relinquish the lead after scoring seven runs in the first inning when it scored on two doubles, a groundout by Hutchenson, three singles, and an RBI triple by Mottice.

Field Falcons 10U pushed across one run in both the first inning and the fourth. In the first, Field Falcons 10U scored on a groundout by Caleb G, scoring Kyle.

Ohio XS tacked on another four runs in the third. A clutch error scored Woit to open the scoring in the frame. That was followed up by Roggenburk's single, bringing home Parker.

Four runs in the bottom of the third helped Field Falcons 10U close its deficit to 11-5. A two-run single by Kyle and a two-run single by Caleb triggered Field Falcons 10U's comeback. Finally, Andrews got Braxton to fly out to end the threat.

After pushing across one run in the bottom of the fourth, Field Falcons 10U faced just a 11-6 deficit. A groundout by Riley T fueled Field Falcons 10U's comeback. The Field Falcons 10U threat came to an end when Andrews finally got Carter L to ground out.

After pushing across two runs in the bottom of the sixth, Field Falcons 10U faced just a 12-8 deficit. A two-run single by Braxton set off Field Falcons 10U rally. Gross got the last out, as Field Falcons 10U's Josh C flew out.
