Field Falcons 10U lost 20-7 to the Stark Lightning Sunday at Volunteer Park despite Mason Long's two-hit day at the dish.

Dobbins recorded the win for the Stark Lightning. He allowed four runs over two innings. Dobbins struck out one, walked three and gave up four hits.

Carter Little was the game's losing pitcher. He allowed 15 runs in 3 1/3 innings, walked six and struck out two.

The top of the first saw Field Falcons 10U take an early lead, 4-0. A single by Mason, plating Jacob Kucalaba started the inning off. Field Falcons 10U then tacked on more runs when L scored on an RBI double by Riley Tisher, T scored on an RBI single by Caleb Gartner, and G scored on an error.

The lead stayed with the Stark Lightning after the first, when they scored seven runs on an error, a home run by Wells, and two ground outs.

The Stark Lightning increased their lead with two runs in the second. A scored Dobbins for the inning's first run. That was followed up by Willig's single.

After pushing across three runs in the top of the third, Field Falcons 10U faced just a 9-7 deficit. An error, an RBI single by Timmy Farnsworth, and an error fueled Field Falcons 10U's comeback. But, Kieuman got Conner Lindsey to strike out to end the inning.

The Stark Lightning built upon their lead with 11 runs in the fourth. A error scored Willig to get the Stark Lightning on the board in the inning. That was followed up by Lewis' single, scoring Sendcrak.
