An eight-run explosion in the second inning carried Field Falcons 10U to a 12-6 win in six innings over the Norton Panthers at Brimfield Elementary on Tuesday.

Field Falcons 10U scored in the second on a walk by Jacob K, a walk by Mason L, a three-run error, , an error, and a groundout by Lucas C.

Riley T racked up six RBIs on one hit for Field Falcons 10U.

Jared J got the win for Field Falcons 10U. He allowed four runs over three innings. He struck out five, walked none and surrendered two hits.

Tomcik couldn't get it done on the rubber for the Norton Panthers, taking a loss. He lasted just 1 1/3 innings, walked six, struck out none, and allowed five runs.

The Norton Panthers jumped out to an early 3-0 lead in the top of the first. More runs came home for the Norton Panthers when Hoffman scored on an RBI single by Zollinger and Zollinger scored on an error.
