Field Falcons 10U looked to be in control, up by six runs in the third inning, but the Perry Panthers came back to grab a 8-7 win on Friday at Petros Park.

Lucas Cody racked up two RBIs on two hits for Field Falcons 10U. He singled in the first inning and doubled in the third inning.

Will got it done on the mound on the way to a win. He pitched two shutout innings. Will struck out one, walked one and gave up one hit.

The Perry Panthers were sparked by Devon and Will, who teamed up for four hits and two RBIs.

Mason Long ended up on the wrong side of the pitching decision, charged with the loss. He allowed six runs in 2 2/3 innings, walked five and struck out three.

The top of the first saw Field Falcons 10U take an early lead, 3-0. Field Falcons 10U's rally started when Carter Little singled. Field Falcons 10U pushed more runs across when T scored on an RBI single by Carter and L scored on an RBI single by Lucas.

The Perry Panthers tallied two runs in each of the third, fourth, fifth, and sixth. In the third, the Perry Panthers scored on an RBI single by Will, bringing home Devon.

The Perry Panthers scored on a groundout by Terry and a walk by Ashton.

After posting two runs in the fifth, the Perry Panthers again scored two in the sixth. In the fifth, the Perry Panthers scored on an RBI single by Dakota, scoring Devon.
