Field Falcons 10U jumped out to an early lead on Greentown Mudcats and captured a 13-6 victory on Wednesday at Greentown Athletic Club.

With eight runs in the first three innings, Field Falcons 10U left no doubt about the eventual outcome.

A wild pitch, , and a groundout by Carter Little in the first inning and a walk byQuin Shuman and a two-run double by Mason Long during the second inning helped Field Falcons 10U put some runs on the board early.

 

Riley Tisher reached base three times in the game for Field Falcons 10U. He scored three runs and had one RBI.

 

Jared Jones got it done on the bump on the way to a win. He allowed one run over two innings. He struck out five, walked none and surrendered two hits.

Ernie Otte was the game's losing pitcher. He lasted just 1 1/3 innings, walked five, struck out one, and allowed five runs.

Field Falcons 10U brought home two runs in the third inning, and matched that run total in the sixth. In the third, Field Falcons 10U scored on a groundout by Lucas Cody, scoring Jared.

Field Falcons 10U increased its lead with three runs in the fifth. The inning looked promising, as Riley homered to kick things off. That was followed up by Lucas' double, bringing home Jared.

Field Falcons 10U added two more runs in the top of the sixth. A clutch sacrifice fly scored Jacob Kucalaba to open the scoring in the frame. That was followed up by Jared's single, scoring Riley.
